POE Foundation

Mrs. Pat Lewis Gray was a dedicated educator for more than 35 years, positively impacting the lives of countless students and colleagues at Piedmont Schools and Bethany High School. She also taught in Kansas, Texas, California and Colorado. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the POE Foundation. View Mrs. Gray’s obituary.

The Professional Oklahoma Educators Foundation was founded in 1998 by Ginger and Mike Tinney. The Foundation serves as a support organization for POE and provides valuable educational training and services to teachers and students across the state. The POE Foundation is dedicated to promoting a world-class education for all Oklahoma students. The Foundation launched a fundraising campaign called Heart Times to allow teachers and businesses to help teachers.

The POE Foundation currently hosts many events, including the annual Leadership Training Conference, Excellence in Education Merit & Character Awards Banquet and a variety of professional learning workshops and seminars. Read more about the Excellence in Education 2021 Finalists.

Each year the Foundation’s many charitable activities and events make a positive difference in the lives of Oklahoma educators and students. The POE Foundation relies on donations to support these efforts. Thank you for making a tax-deductible donation today.
